The Biomedical Library at Queen’s University offers services to all eligible library users, including Health and Social Care (HSC) staff. Located adjacent to the Reception area on the ground floor of the Medical Biology Centre, this library houses an extensive collection of books and journals related to biomedical sciences, health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, and pharmacy.

For those seeking a quiet place to study, the Biomedical Library provides study spaces, including individual study carrels and open study areas. Additionally, there are five group study rooms (with a maximum occupancy of 5 people each) and two individual study rooms available. You can reserve these study rooms through Queen’s Online.

If you need computer access, head to the Student Computing Area on the 1st floor of the Medical Biology Centre. The library’s standard term time hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 9:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am – 8:30 pm
  • Saturday: Closed
  • Sunday: Closed
